About Texas Wild Hog Control
Texas Wild Hog Control is fully insured and was founded in 2018 by experienced outdoorsman and feral hog trapper Ed Dickey. In 2023, Texas Wild Hog Control expanded to include Nutria and Duck removal. We have all the latest trapping equipment and we get the job done every time. We’ll team up to make sure the ducks’ goose is cooked once and for all.
Why Are Ducks Bad?
Ducks may be cute, but to us they’re invasive poop machines that trample your landscaping and leave excrement everywhere. If your neighborhood is a safe haven for these aggressive birds, they’ll never leave and their numbers will only multiply. No yard will be safe, and your family and pets will pay the price.
Why are Ducks an Invasive Species?
In your neighborhood, you don’t have any native animals on your property that are an enemy of Muscovy Ducks or Egyptian Geese. Without any threats, your property is perfect for them. They can breed without fear, and in a few months, all you’ll see are ducks. That’s where we come in. We have specialized duck traps that we’ll use to make your neighborhood free of birds.
What Does Duck Removal Cost?
In order to calculate the cost of duck removal for your neighborhood, we need to know how many birds we’re talking. Then based on the total number of birds, we can quote a price.

Do Muscovy Ducks and Egyptian Geese Harm Pets?
Both types of flocks are very territorial, and can chase out and antagonize your pets or children if they get too close. When ducks get aggressive, it’s the unsuspecting pet or child that will get a giant bird in their face nipping and biting until it feels safe again. They can also make it so normal animals like a frog or turtle can’t naturally inhabit your waterways, because there’s over-competition for the same resources.
